What is your dream for Woodhaven?
I envision a unique, vibrant, and welcoming congregation
that with God’s grace, will continue to flourish through
spiritual formation, worship, compassionate service, and
the arts so that it is a sacred presence in the
community.
Where are you from and where did you
go to school?
I was born in Fort Worth and raised in Arlington, Texas.
I went to the University of Texas at Arlington for my
undergraduate degree and earned my Doctorate in
Jurisprudence from Southern Methodist University School
of Law and my Master of Divinity from the Perkins School
of Theology at Southern Methodist University.
What do you like to do in your free
time?
My dog Edison is my constant companion and friend. She
is twelve years old and loves squeaky toys. Besides
playing with Edison, I love going to the movie, reading,
eating spicy cuisine, working in the yard, visiting with
folks, listening to music, and laughing.

What is your dream for Woodhaven?
My dream for Woodhaven is that Woodhaven continues to grow and become the spiritual leader of the community.
Where are you from and where did you
go to school?
I went to school starting in Rowlett, TX and ending in Amarillo, TX where I graduated from Amarillo College with my Associates Degree in Applied Science.
What do you like to do in your free
time?
I enjoy spending time with my husband Glenn. I also enjoy quilting and cross stitch.

What is your dream for Woodhaven?
I dream that Woodhaven would become a place where all would strengthen his or her relationship with God and within community. I pray that Woodhaven is a living example of what it means to be a church caring for those inside and outside its walls.
Where are you from and where did you
go to school?
I was born and grew up around El Dorado, Kansas. I graduated from Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Immediately following college I moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Almost 1 and 1/2 years ago I moved to Dallas and began the procress of receiving my Master of Divinity at Perkins School of Theology at SMU in Dallas. I am also actively pursuing ordination in the PC USA church.
What do you like to do in your free
time?
I love spending time with my boyfriend, Mark Ellis, going on walks, playing games, or simply being together. I also love to swim, garden, and be outside in God's beautiful creation. Another one of my passions is cooking healthy foods, and then of course eating them!

What is your dream for Woodhaven?
I am really enjoyingthe growing of the Youth Program, that we are able to provide a safe haven for the youth to come, worship, learn, study Confirmation and have fun. I am looking forward to my spiritualgrowth through worship and formal education, sharing it with the youth and all who attend Woodhaven. I would also like to see us get more involved with our own community.
Where are you from and where did you
go to school?
I was born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. I attended Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. Moved to Connecticut and furthered my Engineering and Business studies at Hartford State Technical College, University of Southern Connecticut and Hartford State University. I move from Connecticut about 1995 and settled in Dallas. Currently I am enrolled in Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University.
What do you like to do in your free
time?
What free time? I enjoy spending time with my wife and children when possible. One of my loves in life is cooking. I develop recipes and started storing them on my computer. I read, enjoy movies, watching Football and Baseball but only the playoffs in the NBA if Dallas is in there. And once in a while do absolutely nothing but rest.

What is your dream for Woodhaven?
I wish for Woodhaven to continue to be a welcoming place for ALL and that all who come through its doors feel that welcome and the love of God.
Where are you from and where did you
go to school?
I am from Wichita, KS and went to Bethel Life School (a private non-denominational christian school sponsored by an Assemblies of God church) from grades 8-12. This is where I found my love for music. I have a bachelors degree from The Wichita State University and a Masters Degree from The University of Kansas.
What do you like to do in your free
time?
I enjoy the outdoors. I like long walks, biking and running.
My music of course, occupies a lot of my free time.

What is your dream for Woodhaven?
I would like to share my musical gifts with church members. My hope is that the music I play will make our church members feel warm and invited, and move them spiritually.
Where are you from and where did you
go to school?
I am a native of Korea. I hold a bachelor's degree from KeMyoung University in Korea, with a major in organ. After coming to the United States, I completed my master's in organ from the University of North Texas.
What do you like to do in your free
time?
I love to watch movies!
